And I'm off!

I am just coming off a very successful meeting last night with Father Miguel Ángel Cadenas, who was able to provide me with a good deal of additional information regarding speakers of Omurano, individuals and locations on the Urituyacu River.  I have no leads to follow up on in Nueva Alianza itself, and slightly upriver in Monterrico, on the Marañón proper.  I am heading off this evening on the Linares IV, a lancha, from Puerto Masusa in Iquitos.  I expect to be back in Iquitos around the 25th, and will update on my findings then!
